Total Debt Servicing Ratio
The property loan amount in Singapore is regulated by MAS and restricted by Total Debt Servicing Ratio (TDSR) framework.  The TDSR is implemented on 28th June 2013 and the core principal is only 60% of the Cross Income after less any outstanding monthly obligation debt are allow to use to finance the mortgage, based on an interest rate of  3.5%. The total debt is inclusive on the following:

  • Your Credit Card Balance(s)
  • Your Student Loan(s)
  • Your Car Loan(s)
  • Your Personal Loan(s)
  • Your Credit Term Instalment Plans With Retailers
